Laptop Data Recovery on a Sony Vaio Notebook??

Microsoft Windows contains native software for restoring data on your Sony Vaio laptop. The Microsoft system restore feature periodically takes "snapshots" of your computer and saves them. Running system restore will return your computer to an earlier time when you still had the data you want to recover. Recovering the data on your Sony Vaio notebook takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Click on the "Start" button, then "Control Panel," then "Performance and Maintenance."

Click on "System" then click on "System Properties."

Select the "System Restore" tab.

Click "Restore my computer to an earlier time" then click "Next."

Choose a restore point before your data was lost then allow system restore to complete.
